From 1 April 2025, Finanstilsynet will take over a number of tasks previously performed by Euronext Oslo Børs – and this will entail certain changes:
- The Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority takes over supervision of inside information and deferred publication.
- The notification obligation in the event of a decision to postpone publication is abolished.
- In the event of delayed publication, the issuer must notify the Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority after the information has been published in a stock exchange notification via Altinn form KRT-1801. Companies should familiarize themselves with who can submit the form on behalf of the companies.
- Finanstilsynet takes over the role of the tender authority for takeover bids, including approval of offer documents, exemption applications, etc.
- The Norwegian Financial Supervisory Authority takes over supervision of buybacks and price stabilization.
